I thought Miami had a clean bill of health from now to the end of the tournament, weather wise, according to all reports I've read, but no, it's raining again. Play suspended. 1-2 second set for Machac with Andy 15-0 up on his serve.

7-6 (5). That is a real shame - well fought Andy and hes getting back up there. Onto the clay (after his doubles) for one last clay season. Could that be Andys last hard court singles?

Darn   I thought he was going to get there when that net cord sat up for him to go 5-3* up in the TB.

Great support from rhe crowd but couldn't quite get the job done.
