Going to be a tough final. Bejenaru has won 5 doubles titles since October 2023, all in Sharm and with different partners. Jeong has won two titles in Sharm this year.
Well done Holly, has she won any ITF titles before?
Yes, just one in Monastir at the beginning of February. Quite a few RU though !
Yes, that one title is in the only doubles W15 she has competed in since last May. Her other approximate 20 doubles entries have been at W25s ( where she has had RUs partnering Madeline Brooks ) and often higher level than that ( has had SFs at W100 ).
In fact her lowest (12th) counter is 15 points so while it would be good to win another title, 15 points here would not add to her counting ranking points.

It's a pity that she and Madeleine ended their partnership - they were on the up until their last tournament together back in August. Holly drops 18 from Nottingham in April, so 15 here may well become a counter.

I agree it's a shame. My guess is that Maddy was happy to continue as a dubs specialists whilst Holly still has singles aspirations.

Yes, that's my take on it as Holly was playing singles at most of those tournaments when she could get in. Unfortunately she is stuck at the moment at the point where she is playing qualifying but not getting main draw wins or points. I will ask her next time I see her, although that probably won't be until later in the summer.
And it was a tough match as expected. Holly and Julie saved 11 out of 14 break points, but took control during the MTB. A second doubles title for Holly and fifth for Julie - who has reached the singles final as well.
