Leave of Absence Request

Looking at your timeline I'm assuming you think Leeds are going up automatically and won't have to bother with the PO Final the third week of May?

Sorry folks, had to take the whole afternoon and evening off so thanks to all those who posted results. My 96 year old father had a fall and cut his head quite badly and was taken off to hospital. So I have just spent nearly 9 hours in A & E with no internet and limited battery on my phone. I'll catch up in the morning.

Hey TA - hope your Dad is getting better and wishing him and you all the best. Take care.

Thanks JonH.  He'll be OK. They've kept him in overnight because he's bruised (not broken) a hip and it's painful for him to stand. So a return trip to collect him tomorrow afternoon is on the cards. I must say that the staff were brilliant - it was just the waiting between assessments took ages.

Gosh, so sorry to hear about your dad TA. Thank goodness he is in good hands and nothing is actually broken.

I appreciate all those who post on here, especially all the hard work of posting fixtures and results, so you should never have to feel bad about not being able to from time to time or whenever you can't.

Hope he gets better soon.

All the very best, the addict

To your dad, and you, and other family involved

(My dad had a fall a few weeks ago and ended up is hospital but, thankfully, no real harm done. His wife took care of it so I wasn't needed. But, again, he says the people and the service, in fact, was brilliant)

Don't worry about any little gap in results !

Hi TA, I did worry as I thought it was unlike you to disappear without saying anything. I hope all goes well with your Dads recovery.

Thanks for picking up all the results and draws. I just went through my spreadsheet - not many left playing today now, but we still have Fran, Marni, Katy and Lily vying for a PM nomination.

I'm expecting to collect Dad this afternoon if they release him.

Look after your Dad - if you want to make a Pom nomination, just say a name when its time and someone else can write it up in terms of the achievement. Best to you and Dad TA!
