1. Oliver Bonding, for winning the J500 "Banana Bowl", dropping only one set along the way. Oli is the first British boy to win a J500 event since they were introduced in 2023, having earlier in the week become the first British boy to reach the semis or beyond of a J500 event. Prior to the introduction of J500s, only three other British boys had won any of the equivalent top-level "Grade A" tournaments, the last of them being George Morgan, who won the 2010 Orange Bowl.
2. Alfie Hewett - won the Super series Cajun Classic, beating world number one (Oda) in the final and for a secomd straight week to take his consecutive wins now to 12 matches. Also won the doubles title (w/ Gordon Reid). On 18th March, Alfie also went back to world number one!
3. Luke Hooper (2006) - two J100 singles titles, back to back, at Loughborough

6. Andy Murray - for reaching the third round in Miami, and for winning the most matches of the British men over the IW and Miami sunshine swing, beating Goffin, Berrettini and Etchevery, and losing a Herculean match with Machac. Still the biggest heart out there. And doing it with destroyed ankle ligaments at the end of his match.
7. Bella Rebel - just been selected as one of 24 best 12U girls worldwide to compete at the IMG Future Stars event next month. Special mention from @marta_kostyuk. And made the QFs at the Super Auray U12 tournament, losing to the eventual winner, and being the best GB player, despite not being part of the GB team.

Thank you The Addict ! Reposting to ensure people see it as latest list!
So it probably leaves us with Fran needing a post final update and, possibly, a nomination for Giles if he wins his final?! Lucy Shuker also won her doubles title in Korea this weekend and Im toying with that as well!

lucy may not get many votes but I feel its worth recognising her good performances in doubles.
In the very, very slim chance that anyone actually in tennis reads this forum (), I'd just like to say that I suggested Bella Rebel for being selected for the IMG partly because I love her name, and just to vary things a little. I think, in fact, Ginny Chen has also been selected - so this is not 'dissing' Ginny at all but I can't put Ginny's name up too, so maybe my suggestion is Bella (and Ginny), after all, two 12 year-olds sort of makes one 24 year-old

Ok, so the juniors thing is a bit arbitrary but this is my thinking
Firstly, I'd love to nominate the J100 in Finland - it's been a brilliant event for our players who've come away with five trophies ! But I think Jon would draw the line at nominating an event ()
So I nominate the two singles winners, Luke and Brooke, with spiel given below. (Sarah Copley has also won a title this week, but it's 'only' J60 and she's the same age as Brooke, and something has to give, so, sorry, Sarah)

Been missing so much tennis recently, thought I'd drop in on this thread to see who on the men's side has been having a good month. Have to say, it's looking a bit bleak.
