Although you say Wimbledon is out, Wimbledon qualifying is pretty organised now. £15 a ticket but not on sale yet.
I tend to go to Surbiton. Qualifying on Sunday is free and ground passes are probably still available for Monday to Thursday. For the Midlands, the obvious one is Ilkley but I dont how close it is to a train station. Standard at Surbiton will be below Eastbourne / Wimbledon / Nottingham but there's a lot of up and coming talent at that event and some top people - last year had Dan Evans and Andy Murray, Heather Watson and others.
I was thinking of going up to Nottingham for the W35 this week but with Sonay Marni and Katy Dunne withdrawing it seems quite a weak showing from the British players. Why would Brogan,Appleton, silva etc not want to enter this?

If you are in the midlands(as I am), Ilkley is 2 and a half hours away. A good deal nearer are Birmingham, Shrewsbury and Nottingham. The only one I know is Birmingham, suggest taxi from main station as it's less than 2 miles.
I'm wondering about trying to get a ticket from Wimbledon qualifying, once they become available. Website says photographic id will be needed in addition to ticket. It's not very helpful, in that it says "including passport, driving licence"... I have neither, but my freedom pass was acceptable for voting recently - does anyone know if it would satisfy Wimbledon? Thanks.

I can't swear to this but, honestly, I've been every year to Wimbly qualis and they've never been ultra strict about this sort of stuff.
I don't remember showing ID but I usually only show a credit card so, if asked, that's probably what I did then too
(and I know that doesn't have a photo......)
I'd have thought your freedom pass would be fine
Print out - or save - the site that says a freedom pass is sufficient ID for voting and show them that if they ask - if it's good enough to vote, it's good enough for anything else

Hoping to book tickets for Queens during the priority window but going round in circles trying to find my access code. Am logged in through advantage but getting nowhere. Maybe something will happen at 10am but just wondering if anyone else has successfully got their code yet.
Hi, looking to visit Roehampton w/c 10 Feb. Does anyone know the set-up, can I just turn up on any given day or do I need to book/purchase tickets in advance? And what is parking like?
Thanks in advance.
I went to Roehampton in July 2023 and just turned up. Had to sign in but no problem. That was an outdoor tournament though - there weren't many spectators other than players and coaches. I very much doubt whether there will be any parking though - it isn't very extensive and will be reserved for staff. Best bet is probably Bank Lane or Roehampton Gate just to the south which don't appear to have any restrictions according to Google streetview. (These streets aren't available during Wimbledon qualies, naturally). If you go by public trnsport it's a long walk from Barnes station.
I went to the Roehampton indoor W35 (?) in March last year.
No tickets or booking in advance, just turned up - say you're there for the ITF event and they let you in (don't be intimidated - it's open to the public, and free)
Street parking is available on the side streets - but I've no idea if it's normally taken or whatever
There's a nice canteen downstairs, which you share with the players/coaches etc
Tickets for the WTA500 at Queens go on sale to priority members on Tuesday 11 February. I think I'll try for the Tuesday as there is more chance of Brits playing that day (second day of main draw first round and first day of doubles, hopefully, going by the Nottinham schedule last year)
