28 players split into 4 groups of 7, top 2 (and ties) from each will go into the final.
As always, vote for the person/players you feel is the player of the month from the list below - if you can say when you vote and for who and why, that always helps!
Vote will close at 8.50 am Tuesday morning, final to be posted shortly thereafter
2 - Felix Gill - for reaching the semi final of an ATP Challenger 75 - on clay - beating 2 seeds & other higher ranked players on the way.
3 - Lily Miyazaki - for winning the tournament at Andrezieux-Boutheon; some great wins, including beating the top seed in the SF.
13. Greg Slade - Britain's #2 ranked Quad wheelchair player, unseeded he won the Bolton Indoor ITF Series 3 event, beating World ranked #10, top seeded Brazilian, Silva, in the final. Also won the doubles title, again Unseeded. Followed up with the doubles title in the ITF Series 2 event the following week, also in Bolton.
14. Henry Searle - for reaching his first Challenger level QF and beating WR 286 player Jiri Vesely. Also finished runner up in the doubles with Kyle Edmund as WCs.
16. Edie Griffiths - age 14 - for winning the J60 in Norway - her first singles final, her first singles title - and a very good one, given her age.
17. Katie Boulter - for her performances in winning at WTA 500 San Diego, including beating Haddad Maia WR 13. And for reaching a further CH. Her first WTA 500 title, she beat 5 top 50 players this week and reached a CH ranking of 27.
23. Billy Harris - For reaching a new career high of either 181 or 182, depending on tomorrows results.
I don't think there's much doubt about the POM for February but we have to go through the motions here. Thanks Jon
Possibly true, but second place is important (for the process of PoS!) and someone always bucks the trend!!
My comments were a bit tongue in cheek Jon, as obviously there have have been lots of good performances this month, all of which deserve to be recognised. I was just slightly amused to see the process this morning when the outcome seems so obvious given Katie's outstanding performance which some of us are basking in this morning!!!

I know, I realised, don't worry - it may not be quite as extreme, but remember when we did PoM back when Emma had won the US Open - felt a little like a procession, but sometimes these things happen!
I guess most of us expect one winner to emerge, but some people follow other parts of the sport more and vote accordingly; on a serious note, though, coming second counts as it qualifies a player for Player of the Season and that is probably worth something - as TA says, some people will therefore vote tactically at some point and we will most likely find there isnt quite a 100% vote for Katie (or anyone else!) as a result of some tactical votes or people having other preferences.
But as Emmsie implied, I dont think I will be sweating this months vote out in quite the same way!
