Andy needs a miracle here tonight against the 26yo no 5 seed Rublev. It really is asking a lot of his ageing body...but fair play to Andy's he's holding his own so far and has 3 break points to take the first set!
I watched most of the first set last night. One point away from first set 4 times so he could easily have taken it and then who knows? Andy was playing very well at times but Rublev, don't forget is 5 in the world, and stepped up when he needed to at end of first set and to get first break in second, by the sound of it. Maybe now we all know Andy will retire sometime over the summer he will relax and enjoy it and have a bit of a run somewhere in next few months? This is the sort of match that Andy, or indeed any top 10 or 20 player could have lost at most stages of their career. Let's enjoy the last months we will have watching him!

Well said!
We are going to miss him, has always been a counter in all the top tournaments over the years when other British representation was often pretty scant. Hope he can pull off a few more wins during the grass season.
