Ah, I wondered why the scoreboard wasn't changing.

Well done Emma

Funnily enough, the last time Yastremska retired from a WTA match she was playing Emma back in September 2022. That's around 38 tournaments ago.

Looked like a pulled ab from the way she was clutching her stomach doubled up at the back of the court.

Anyone watching the Gauff match? Lost first set 62. Just curious.

A shame for her, but nice that Emma is through

Not watching but getting summaries on Sky. Gauff's serve appears to have been left in the hotel - 6 DF in the first set and two at the start of the second. Down 2-6 0-2

Yes I remember watching that match, Live also. She has done it quite a lot in her career and it always seems to be when she is on the wrong end of the scoreline.

Am on court waiting for Emma.

What a shame for you Brittak, our intrepid reporter.

The only time I was courtside (literally, near her chair) to watch Emma it was she who was in pain and retired about 4games in.

Will you be there Monday?
