And they both got wins in doubles too (not together)

Mark Ceban, top seed, won his R2 match

Lawrie Wilkin, 5th seed, unfortunately lost

J30 Bahrain

Issah Ali lost in the three sets in R1

As did Casey Mauro who had to retire

J30 Ethiopia

Three GB lads lost in R1, although with competitive scores

All three got wins in R1 of doubles though

J30 Estonia

Leo Wright won his R1

Excellent event for GB interests as both girls won their QFs and are into the SFs (not against each other)

Freya beat the top seed (ranked about 170) 6-3 1-6 6-4

And Flora won her SF, 6-4 6-4

She couldn't quite do the double (Flora and partner lost their dubs final)

But that's a great week for Flora - and for Freya too

Although Flora has chalked up some decent doubles titles, her last singles title was in 2021

So these new points will take her up well over 100 places in the rankings, into the top-300
