I think he will call it a day at Wimbledon on Centre Court scene of his biggest triumphs
That's been my feeling for a while (and one of the reasons I left Andy out of the end-of-year top-10 list)
Although there's always the Olympics...... that might change things a little
He's all but guaranteed to qualify for the Olympics as an ITF Place recipient. There are two places for players with the most Olympic/Slam titles if not a direct acceptance, and Murray is second only to Nadal. He would need to be in the Top 400 (which he'll easily meet) and there not be 4 British direct acceptances ahead of him. So unless Liam Broady breaks into the Top 70. So his call.

Yep, he will want to play the Olympics and may also play one of the doubles events if eligible. Id feel hed play the US Open as well, home of his first slam title. maybe he wont bother with DC, but I dont think stopping at Wimbledon would work, he will want one final Olympics and US for sure
L32: Andy Murray WR 67 defeated (PR) Denis Shapovalov (CAN) WR 120 by 4-6 7-6(5) 6-3 in two hours & 32 minutes
L32: Andy Murray WR 67 vs (5) Ugo Humbert (FRA) WR 18 (= CH)
Humbert could be a step up for Andy, but you never know. I think Dubai is playing fast (Hurkacz is there and playing loads of tie breaks, it MUST be fast!) and Humbert likes fast surfaces, but Andy may find he can stay in it and get the odd break, needs to hold of course. Serving well will be key for Andy and he hasnt been doing that much this season
Dubai is in the top 10 fastest surfaces according to Tennis Abstract - 1.00 is "average" and Acapulco and IW show as slow courts, as we know. The speeds above Dubai are all events people would recognise as being renowned fast court events - some on grass, the tour finals have always been speedy in Turin, Shanghai of course and Washington and Basle.

The analysis below shows how Humbert is one of those players who thrives on faster courts and suffers in slower conditions, relatively to their own level ie Humbert isnt the best fast court player but prefers faster courts based on his own performance compared to slower. As Jeff Sackmann summarises:
"But for some players, conditions matter a lot. Ugo Humbert likes his surfaces fast, as much as almost anyone else on tour. In Rotterdam, the conditions did not cooperate."

His wish to play at the Paris Olympics apparently confirmed by this story on the Beeb's site.
Good - as per my comments above, I think US Open will be it; it is a long time to be retired and why not see through the end of the slam season and where he won his first slam title
