Shame for Luke, they were 9th alts so not sure if hes just knocking around whilst his partner picks up wildcards; must be annoying.
Luke & Mansouri have looked very good as a partnership so hopefully they plan to continue to play together going forward.
If Mansouri can't get in a tournament with Luke and gets another opportunity I just wish him the best for improving his ranking and thus their potential combined ranking. Bopanna & Ebden is as tough a draw as they could get though.

Agreed - I think Manaouri got the opportunity and why not take it if he and Luke would not have got it. But Luke must be a little frustrated if hes just there practicing and hoping!

Except that he's in the Lille Challenger this week, in a scratch pairing with the American, George Goldhoff, & a bum draw against the top seeds, Frantzen & Jebens.

Ok, cool - he must have managed to get some action then, better than nothing !
The Irish pair (sans O'Hara!) seem to have made a decent fist of the second set.
Would be good to see Lloyd and Rojer make some headway this week, like Joe and Neal's pairings, none of the three have quite hit the road yet this season. Fortunately, Jamie and Julians pairing (and Luke) seem to be gathering momentum.
Still very early days of course but that win currently takes Lloyd & Jean-Julian up to #6 in the live doubles race on 835 points.
Next Brit is Joe with Rajeev at #15 on 610 points
Edit: these ranking position and points figures ( taken from live-tennid.eu ) are actually wrong. See my next post for the correct figures from the ATP site.

It is indeed early days, and I am perhaps being harsh. I think the two back to back Masters events coming up will shake it up. At the moment, the top 12-20 teams feel a bit all over the place and have a few singles predominately players in there, and seem pairs that did well at AO but arent really a long term pairing.
