L16: Jakub Mensik (CZE) WR 116 defeated Andy Murray WR 50 by 7-6(6) 6-7(3) 7-6(4) in three hours & 24 minutes
The young (he's 18, so half Andy's age) Czech served for the match twice in the second set & twice again before the tie-break in the third.
Mensik didn't serve for the second set - was on serve throughout. However Andy missed 2 set points in the first set tiebreak, the first with a sitter of a volley. And if he'd managed to win the first set...

I thought Murray played well in parts especially when he was aggressive but sadly that missed volley cost him. Mensik didn't totally outplay Murray but perhaps was steadier at key points in the tiebreaks
Saw some of the first set and then the 2nd when he pulled it back to 5-5 with 2 breaks. He played really well in that period. Mensik will be a very good player

A report from the ATP which includes a link to the story that persuaded me that Andy would have his hands full today & be lucky to win.
Also from the ATP site, a quote from a commentator describing a winning deep lob hit by Mensik (unfortunately): "That is top draw!" Unless "top draw" is an expression actually in use in tennis, but with which I am unfamiliar, the plague is spreading!

Top drawer is regularly used, as in like something out of the top drawer (as opposed to from the top of the draw ie field), whered youd find the good quality silverware and cutlery etc.
I hear that all the time, think it is a great expression!

I am well aware of the uses of the adjectival expression "top drawer". I was questioning the intelligence/grammatical competence of the ATP site administrator who transcribed it as "top draw"!

Not necessarily. I see the error repeated frequently in readers' response to articles published on the TimesOnLine site.
