J100 Manacor

Allegra Korpanec Davies (2nd seed) is into the SFs in singles 

Hannah Read (top seed) lost in the QFs

(Max Carrier lost in R2, Freya Peet and Erin Pearce lost in R1) 

 

Allegra+ are also into the doubles final 

(Hannah & Erin Pearce lost in the semis)

 

J60 Tunisia 

Mark Ceban (2nd seed) is into the SFs in singles (and lost in the SFs in doubles)

Annabella Hristova and Letitica Romanova lost in R2 in singles 

Leticia made the semis in doubles though, before losing

noticing lots of juniors are doing well, has this been the case in the last say 10 years or is this unusually good, especially in terms of depth and age? Mark Ceban is only 14 likewise Hannah Klugman and we've had Henry Searle win junior Wimbledon, Mika Stojsavljevic beat a seeded player today. Future looks bright too with Draper and Raducanu too. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself haha...

 Yes, I make it that he'll go up to about JWR 355

Which puts him third in the world (he's currently 4th)

Congrats too to Casey Drake ('08) who made it to the final of the J30 event in Mozambique before being pipped for the title by a local lad
