It would have been good to have Scottie's insights on that match.  It means an all-pesky top half.

QF:  Elmar Ejupovic (GER) WR 433 "defeated" (Q) Stuart Parker WR 733 by a walkover  bleh

I wonder what's up with Stuart.  Hope it's nothing serious.

Sorry but I always find it really annoying when someone knocks out one of our players and that pulls out of the next round.  It could have been Kyle playing Ejupovic today.

Presumably Stuart wasnt injured when he completed v Kyle or not badly? But to be honest, every point is important in WR terms and in terms of cash, so hard to blame Stuart in taking the win, even if annoying! It is pro sport and dog eat dog, I reckon.

Yeah right.  I wasn't actually blaming Stuart, just frustrated for Kyle who needs all the matches he can get just now.

Not that Im a Stuart fan, I dont really have a view on him to be honest. And I also would prefer Kyle to do well. Guess I just shrugged my shoulders!

I would be more frustrated for Kyle if Ejupovic pulled out as then he would be in the semis. As it is if he had beaten Stuart nothing different would have happened so I do not see it as relevant that Stuart withdrew.

I see that Stuart has withdrawn from next week's Spanish M15.

Sorry guys not at tennis today was yesterday saw Paul beat Charlie . Good match but Paul kept the rallies going and in end Charlie's level dropped.
Charlie was upset at end of match which is a shame to say.
I am home now in North of Scotland so won't see the last few matches

Yes, FWIW Paul is back up to live GB #17 on 97 points, now ahead of Dan Cox, Toby and Giles who are clustered in the low 90s points. He would go up to around WR 370 and GB #14 if he wins the tournament.

And a decent chunk of his points tied up for 12 months in this event
