Week 7 - ATP Challenger 50 - Glasgow, Great Britain (indoor hard)

News from the LTA about next week's field.  Brits in the main draw will be Charlie Broom, Aidan McHugh & Ali Gray, with Kyle, Henry Searle & Hamish Stewart getting wild cards.  The LTA expects Anton M, Dan Cox, Giles Hussey & Harry W to receive qWCs, but according to darts, Anton's made the main draw.  The LTA also says that three youngsters, Patrick Brady, Charlie Robertson & Ben Gusic-Wan (a new name on me), have been given qWCs.  Joris de Loore & Francesco Passaro appear to have withdrawn.

According to darts, Scott Duncan & Marcus Willis will be the top seeds in the doubles, with Charlie B & Ben Jones second & George Houghton & Mark Whitehouse fourth.

According to the list Ali Gray has withdrawn and Anton too. There was a posting on Entries/rankings a few days ago suggesting Kyle had withdrawn too?
I am going to the tournament first part of next week.
Charlie Robertson is a good Scottish Junior

De Loore is out as well so the LTA is out of date

Yes, he knows, that's why he's saying the LTA stuff is out of date

Worth noting, we don't all read all the posts, I don't for sure, I skim read and tend to read the last. I hadn't read the first post until literally just now. So it doesn't really matter if someone repeats some news or misses that someone else has already said it! We aren't red top hacks looking for the latest exclusive!

QR1:  (qWC) George Houghton WR 978 (CH = 964 last December) vs (q11) Paul Jubb WR 521 (CH = 196 in September 2022)

QR1:  (qWC) James Davis WR 1359 (CH = 1194 last November) vs (q12) Harry Wendelken WR 575 (CH = 466 last October)

QR1:  (q4) Daniel Cox WR 462 (CH = 206 in July 2014) vs Andrea Guerrieri (ITA) WR 619 (CH = 595 last October)

QR1:  (q5) Giles Hussey WR 463 (CH = 437 last month) vs (qWC) Charlie Robertson UNR
QR1:  (qWC) Ben Gusic-Wan UNR vs (q8) Martyn Pawelski (POL) WR 482 (CH = 469 last July)

QR1:  (q6) Hynek Barton (CZE) WR 478 (CH = 473 last December) vs Stuart Parker WR 769 (CH = 346 on October 2022)
QR1:  (ALT) Ben Jones WR 908 (CH = 893 last April) vs (q10) Gianmarco Ferrari (ITA) WR 513 (CH = 387 last May)

I seem to have overlooked young Ben, I imagine because there is no national flag alongside his name in the draw on the ATP site & I just ran my eye down it as I typed the post.   My apologies.  Omission now corrected.  No sign of Patrick Brady.

I don't see Patrick Brady or Ben Gusic Wan even though they should have had QWC

* Ben GW is in the draw, just not posted above...

Ben Gusic-Wan seems to have caused all manner of problems on this thread, and its not even on the second page yet.

He is up against Pawelski in QR1.
