I follow her. I just always think shes got a big match in her. Agree about the mental side of things. I remember years ago seeing her play one of the top seeds at Eastbourne and she was playing really well then duffed an easy volley into the net and fell apart for the next few games, losing the set. She then came back in the second set but was always up against it after that. If shed just been able to put that one point behind her I think shed have won. Nevertheless she has the ability to beat top players so is always worth watching for me!

Hev one set up in the doubles looking to serve for the match in the second. And she wins with her partner 7-6 in the second set against the number one seeds. On a roll this week Hev!

I wonder who her future partner might be. She seems to be playing with a different partner every week as if it is an ambition to play with everyone before she retires. She had a good run with Tatjana years ago and her partnership with Harriet looked promising.

I guess if singles is her priority still - as it should be and appears to be - she needs to find a partner that aligns with her tournaments, which must be hard? So I guess mixing it around is going to be the way unless she gets swings of events, like the grass, where she can more easily align with someone else?

It's probably rather more difficult to establish a regular doubles pairing as long as Heather remains focussed on singles with a mixture of level of tournaments.
Edit - great minds ...
