More importantly this means she is definitely going to be high enough to play in the Olympics. I hope I have that correct. In Mixed Doubles too.

Pera is also currently on court in Doha which is also probably why they withdrew!

Do we think that Linette was 'persuaded' to be injured so that Pera could play qualifying?

Again it would have to be combined ranking with another British player. As things stand she and Boulter would probably get in, although am sure she'd prefer to play with Dart.

 The draw says that it was a left thigh injury. But she's still in the main draw for Doha at the moment. Still has a couple of days to "recover"

Heather could easily reach a new career high ranking in doubles. I could see her top 20 for sure.

 She's live ranked at 42 and trails #39 (her CH) by 83 points. Quite a few players around her are in Doha though
