Only looked at the highlights, Emma actually seemed to be striking the ball well - but Ons actually showed up as a top 10 player today. As much as I wanted Emma to win, I do love watching Ons. She's by far the most exciting WTA player when she's on.

After working so hard in the set to be positive, and aggressive and proactive, she was incredibly tentative in the tiebreak and paid the price.

Ach that's a shame. Another decent performance but she just backed off in some crucial moments instead of committing and backing herself.

Hev and Linda take the first set, go down 0-4* and get back to *3-4 deuce only to get a pretty dodgy call against them. Then waste 40-0* in the next game and it's a MTB

Aoyama was a joy to watch but she wasn't strong enough. Heather and Linda play a really solid, smart MTB and take it 10-5. Fab!

Pity for Linette but great for Heather & Linda.

WTA 500 gives 500 points (yay!) to the winner and 325 points to the RU.

Reaching the final should take Heather to live #41 and if she wins the title that should take out her CH 39 from 2019.
