I think several of us have been hanging on to see how the week progresses - the same with Emma and Harriet !
Definitely - and there are other events that could yield contenders also (Nottingham and Edgbaston for example). As ever, all narratives can be updated by anyone, at any time.
Heather is going to need an update as she has reached the doubles final in Abu Dhabi
Harriet has reached her first WTA semifinal so a nomination will follow once we see how she gets on.

Thanks TA - not followed Heather too much this week but anyone can update it and also add new players , not just original nomination poster!
1 - Jodie Burrage for reaching the quarter finals of the WTA500 in Linz from qualifying, including getting through some tough moments with composure.
2 - Felix Gill for reaching the semi final of an ATP Challenger 75 - on clay - beating 2 seeds & other higher ranked players on the way
3 - Lily Miyazaki for winning the tournament at Andrezieux-Boutheon; some great wins, including beating the top seed in the SF.
4 - Heather Watson for a timely reminder that she can still mix it with the top players.
5. Harriet Dart for coming through qualifying and making the semi-final of a 250K event for the first time, beating WR 56 on the way. Also for making the semi-final in doubles.
Updates Heather's narrative (and here's hoping there's more to come).

4 - Heather Watson for a timely reminder that she can still mix it with the top players. At the Abu Dhabi WTA 500, she reached the final in the doubles (with Linda Noskova), resulting in her rocketing up the doubles rankings. In singles at the same event, she came through qualifying and then won her first round match against the world number 16.

6. Mark Ceban - age 14 - won the single title at the J60 Tunisia. This will boost him to about JWR 350, and take him to third best player in the world for his age
