I went for Kyle. He has such a tough time in 2023, and wishing him all the best in 2024.

And great to see Kyle doing well again and getting recognised in this vote! hes never won a player of the month vote before, and certainly in the running this month!

Though Jon, do you still find it hard to see why Kyle continues to attract so many votes?

No , I understand it. It was v pleasing to see Kyle get the titles; it was great to see he is well supported and people are articulating that support for him via their votes; and I can understand from the comments why people chose to vote for him.

But, for me, I didn't personally think what he did was beyond the "well done, great effort" stage and put him above others in this vote. But that is just a personal opinion; listen, I voted in round one for Andy Lapthorne as I rated his grand slam winning quad doubles title as a marvellous win, but others don't rate it the same - whether because they dont follow wheelchair or because they dont value it (probably a bit of both) as highly.

I guess we all have our different views on merit worthiness! I also voted for Anna McBride, partly as I felt a strong connection with her story and achievements through talking to her dad; hard to stack that v Kyle or Luke or Katie or anyone else - some have also agreed and voted for Anna, more have rated others achievements higher, and that is perfectly good.

Thankfully we dont all vote for the same person or for the same reasons, otherwise it would be very boring!!

And well done to Kyle in his titles and in the vote so far!!

I went for Jack. Such monumental efforts both physically and mentally.

A tie for second spot and still quite tight at the top generally. Remember, the top 2 PLUS ties will qualify for the Player of the Season at the end of the year. So not only winning Player of the Month but also being runner up are important places to achieve!

The top 4, I would say, all still have a genuine chance of this. A bit more of a stretch for the bottom 3 given there probably arent more than 10 or so votes left in this...
