Is anyone aware of any comments by Andy since yesterdays match or, indeed , by the British press? This is where we miss Mike Dickson.

This is all Stuart Fraser had to say in today's Times, in a couple of paragraphs tacked on to an article about the influence of Darren Cahill on Jannik Sinner:

Murray's losing streak goes on

Andy Murray is still waiting for his first win of the year after losing in three sets to France's Benoît Paire in the first round of the Open Sud de France.  Murray, who exited both the Brisbane International and the Australian Open after his opening match, let slip a one-set lead against Paire, the world No 112, to lose 6-2 6-7 (7-5) 3-6 in just short of 2¾ hours.

The former world No 1, who has said this year could be his last on tour if he is "not enjoying it" lost in the opening round to Grigor Dimitrov in Brisbane and fell to Tomas Martin Etcheverry in straight sets at the Australian Open.

Fighting talk from Andy on Twitter right now though.

Here he is, rebuffing a report from a BBC Scotland reporter.

I suspect the journo who wrote this will regret it; he always had a good relationship with Andy, from what I remember. I see 1.8k people have laid on to the journo largely and Andy Murray is trending at top of twitter.

Not sure whether this adds anything to the debate.

Disappointing, but not bad for a fledgling partnership.
