Ostapenko won a final set tie-break by 9-7. The match finished as 00:11 local time.

The match is scheduled as the third of the quarter finals, with the day's play starting at 12:00 local time

 It just depends which Jelena turns up on the day. She can hit the court, the lines and beat nearly anybody or its her Normal game. Hope for Jodie its the latter.

Jodie has called a MTO

She's been feeling the top of her left leg a little

But, tbh, it might have been half that and half that she was being blown off the court and wanted a moment to draw breath

Late in the long second game she was on the stretch in the ad side and immediately started to feel and stretch out her left leg.

Possibly she's just tweaked it slightly.

Shame it ended a little bit disappointingly, whether through injury or just being outhit, but a really great week otherwise. Especially in terms of coming through some difficult moments with composure in the earlier matches. Well done, Jodie.

Jodie has had to pull out of the Transylvania Open, she'd just sneaked into the main draw.
