Mens semis are at 9.30 at Loughborough, womens follow, then finals follow later on today. All done and dusted sometime mid afternoon Id guess.
Winners prize of £3k on the line, thats probably not far off winning an ITF M15 event? ETA - in fact its more, an W/M25 gives $3,600 so similar to this, an W/M15 is less.

Round one and QF round are Monday, semis and finals on Tuesday.
Ewen and Mia will hot foot it up from Loughborough where they are still playing.
Anna McBride is in the draw and plays Hanna Augustynska, a new name to me. Good luck Anna!
Thanks!
Hanna is an improving young player. Anna beat her 12 months ago in a close match in Stirling. But recent form suggests that Anna will have to play well to get through. The world-ranked 1st seed will probably be waiting for the winner.
She was doing great through 2022 and early 2023 to reach as high as WR 371 in May 2023, regularly competive with and beating women in the 300s and 400s.
She appears to have continued to be pretty active since then but the form she had has just disappeared and she is now at WR 1172.
On the face of it a bit of a mystery. Anyone got any insight.?
Eliz has played 16 tournaments this year at ITF level with 9 wins and 17 losses (LL at the W50 Nottingham before you ask). But she did miss a few weeks here and there (eg most of May) so perhaps she had a slight injury that we weren't aware of ?
I was lucky enough to be at Loughborough today and saw Eliz's victory against Hep. It was a really good performance. From 4-1 down in the first she won 8 successive games by breaking Hep's rhythm with an array of drives, drop shots and excellent placements. She has certainly not had a good singles year and was affected by the untimely death of her long time coach Alan Jones. Eliz is now a full time student at Loughborough and is benefitting from the regime there. Her doubles form has remained good with two ITF titles although she needs to find a regular compatible partner. In recent weeks she won the BUCS doubles with Megan Davies and was part of the British Universities team who were runners up in Reims. Eliz relishes team play and has been an integral part of the Sutton team who have been National Team Tennis champions for the past three years. Hopefully today's win will be the precursor of better singles form in 2025.

Thank you for this. All the best to Eliz going forward.
Yes, ditto - thanks Telstar - it's always very interesting to hear firsthand from people - and that must have been very tough for Eliz - as Indy says, all the best to her - I hope she's enjoying uni and all the benefits that can bring, including to her tennis
