Oh gosh, horrible news about Mike Dickson. He collapsed and died today while in Melbourne. He loved tennis and helped a lot of players to tell their story. Thoughts with his family.

Katie lost 6-3 6-3 but she played some fabulous tennis and fought incredibly hard. That final game was quite something.

I turned on the match when Emma was down 0-2 in the second

She's now won three games, playing superbly

I always worry when Emma loses the first set, but no matter which way this match goes she is still nowhere near her best and will be back up there in the top 20 very soon.

A couple of those whipped angle cross court backhands in that final game to break for the set. Wow.
