2024 ITF Wheelchair Tour

Andy and Greg into the quad doubles final; looks like todays play is back outdoors after a week largely indoors. I think singles are playing semis and final today but hard to tell from order of play.

Andy Lapthorne sadly lost his quad singles final, just got one game. Lost the quad doubles also. Nonetheless, good week for him.

It's a while since Alfie got the win over Tokito - this tourno a year ago I think, so very done to Alfie smile Didn't realise that Tokito is still only 17!

Left in the Cajun Classic we have

Mens - Alfie and Gordon in last 16 singles and as a pair, last 8 doubles.

Womens - Lucy, Cornelia and Marsha in last 16 singles and Lucy/Cornelia pair up in last 8 doubles

Quad - Andy in last 8 singles and also last 8 doubles , where he and David Wagner (his AO partner) play Greg Slade and his American partner.

Schedule shows all the singles matches scheduled for today, quite possibly doubles as well as theyve tended to add those to the schedule later.

All our womens singles lost today. So that is over and out.

Gordon and Alfie, however, won mens singles

Andy lost in 3 sets in the Quads singles QF - he played second seed Sam Shroder, so decent effort

Alfie and Gordon both won their last 16 matches, both as expected. They are both playing last 8 mens singles matches as I type and scores are:

(2) Hewett 4 - 3 Sanada (8)

(5) Reid 5-7 6-6 Oda (1)

Strong performance by Gordon against Oda, he is 3-0 up in the second set tie break
