There is an echo at Queens next week featuring some of the top players; then, during Eastbourne, the players are in the series 2 level Eastbourne International; first week of Wimbledon, attention turns to the British Open at Roehampton- good to see it on grass and pre Wimbledon , in the past it has been post Wimbledon on indoor hard courts in Bolton. And then, of course, Wimbledon.
But first, can Alfie overtime Oda today and reestablish himself as Wimbledon favourite?

The British Open was previously held outdoors at Nottingham on hard court.

Ok, similar point though, dont you think? As in pre Wimbledon, on grass, makes more sense structurally.
No need to be pithy!

Wasn't being pithy at all - think it's great that the British Open is now part of a beefed up wheelchair grass court season. Was just stating a fact.

ok - maybe Im too sensitive a soul these days.
No need to be. We're just tennis fans exchanging information and opinions. (OK, and criticising Novak Djokovic and Harriet Dart!)
Does anyone know when the wheelchair matches begin at Queens?
Hi Jan - not sure Queens is much more than an exhibition match or matches, the tournament that was at Queens has moved to Eastbourne this season, I think.
Queens also has the para events going on later this week as well, as per AnnaM's dads post elsewhere!

Ah, OK thanks.
I have a ground pass today and thought I might catch some!
