Alfie wins his semi and gets to the final versus Spaniard de la Puente
Andy couldnt keep his form up and lost the quad semi versus Israel's Sasson
Lucy still has to play women's doubles semis as do Andy and Greg in the Quad doubles
But just Alfie left in singles now.
Sasson, who is 43, is an interesting player. Switched categories from men to quad last year since when he has beaten everyone apart from the world No. 1. Don't know whether he was just reclassified or his disability became worse, but clearly a class player.

Yeah, I recall he appeared for Israel at the world team cup and made them suddenly become contenders in the quad category from nowhere. He played in the Tour Masters as well I think?
I am interested in why Andy and Ramphadi havent maintained their French Open winning partnership? Any ideas? Seems like it was closed down later last season and time called on the pairing.

Not sure. Let's see who plays with who in Melbourne.
A great article on Sasson who only became wheelchair bound following an accident in 2015: https://m.jpost.com/israel-news/sports/article-759192
A couple of day 1 seeding upsets in the mens singles as Houdet and Miki both went out. Houdet lost to a Chinese player, a nation who are getting stronger in wheelchair tennis.
In doubles, Alfie and Gordon won; Andy and David Wagner beat Greg Slade and partner (two wins to nil for Andy over Greg today); Lucy couldnt match her singles win and had a surprise loss in the womens doubles.
