And sadly Andy went down in his final in straight sets.
So wheelchair event over but the show moves on to Nice in France and the Super Series French Riviera Open , played at Morautogalous academy down there. Kicks off mid week.
Congrats again to Alfie and Gordon, and Ruben also.

The French Riviera Open starts tomorrow although I havent seen any draws posted.
The event website says:
The 8th French Riviera Open will start tomorrow, Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the Mouratoglou Academy.
An intense competition, with some of the worlds best players in all three categories.
Alfie Hewett (world No. 1, GBR), Tokito Oda (world No. 2, JAP, winner of Roland-Garros 2024) and Gustavo Fernandez (world No. 3, ARG, reigning FRO champion) will headline the mens draw, which will also feature Frances Stéphane Houdet, Frédéric Cattanéo, Guilhem Laget, Geoffrey Jasiak and Gaëtan Mainguy, as well as local player Laurent Giammartini (WC).
Diede De Groot (world no. 1, NED), winner of another French Open and defending champion of the French Riviera Open, will be hard to dethrone. Still, Yui Kamiji (no. 2, JAP) and Zhenzhen Zhu (no. 5, CHN), a finalist at Roland Garros, will be in ambush. On the French side, Pauline Déroulède, Ksenia Chasteau, Emmanuelle Mörch and Charlotte Fairbank will be playing for Paralympic qualification, while Zoé Maras completes the field.
In the Quads, Niels Vink (world no. 1, NED) will be looking to retain his FRO23 crown and avenge last weeks defeat by Guy Sasson (no. 3, ISR), a recent winner at Roland-Garros. Justin Michel will be carrying Frances hopes for the first time at this level of the competition.
Watch the tournament live scoring and live streaming.
The finals will be broadcast live on Canal + Sport on Saturday, 15, and Sunday, June 16.
All the French Open winners are playing, top ranked player also in each event and basically most of the stars in what is probably the top super series event of the season.
But the big news was Ben Bartram upsetting WR 10 , Japanese Sanada, 4 and 4 for what will be a career best win for Ben, well done to him! He plays de la Puente, the 4th seeded Spaniard next, though.
