Quad singles QF's all on court together - Andy loses the first set 6-2. Always going to be a tough draw for him.

Andy went down 2 and 3.

Just Alfie and Gordon to play later and leave one Brit in the singles events.

Alfie won 0 and 4 against Gordon. Solid.

Oda and Miki both won and play an all Japanese semi.

Alfie loses the opening set of his semi, 7-5. He had been 5-4 up and Fernandez took the last 3 games.

Got to dig deep now.

As a reminder, as well as Alfie playing his singles semi, we still have left in:

Lucy (+ Angelica Bernal) - QF womens doubles today

Alfie and Gordon - SF mens doubles Friday

Andy (+ Guy Sasson) SF quad doubles Friday

There is also a junior boys and girls wheelchair event. The field is small, 4 players in singles and 2 pairs in the doubles; in the boys, Ruben Harris plays for GB. He is a set down in his semi at the moment against the top seed; he will then play with the same top seed in the straight doubles final, which I think will be tomorrow. Good luck to him - good experience for him and I dont think there is a boys or girls wheelchair event at any other slam. A bit like the under 14's invitation at Wimbledon, an interesting side event and may grow across the other slams in due course.
