Agh. Dang. Disappointing news. Still, great season start for Arthur!

Presumably Arthur saving himself for singles? Or is Josh injured?

Either way, prefer Luke to go through here in his chase to try and reach the top 100

Drawsheet lists it as Arthurs elbow. Hopefully just precautionary.

So will he play the singles if he has declared an injured elbow?

No, he's given his opponent a W/O

SF: Valentin Vacherot (MON) WR 219 DEF Arthur Féry WR 270 W/O

I really hope that the injury's nothing serious.

Fingers crossed it isnt long lasting. and he was going so well.

What a week it has been for withdrawals, not just Brits but more widely lots of retirements and walkovers.

I guess you can do all the winter training that you like but when you hit the courts and start playing matches, you stretch muscles and joints that much harder
