He takes it 6-1 6-4. TBH he didn't even have to play his best tennis to win this. Not sure if Paul was having an off day or saving himself for the AO but Jack played well in the second set (didn't see the first) but didn't have to be spectacular.

As you say Jon good confidence booster for Jack.

great win though and maintaining his great end of season from 2023.

Jack and Arthur F feel like the ones to watch for GB this year, really keen to see where they get to over the season

I feel Jack has a big slam performance in him (semis) and I feel Arthur will be getting slam qualies by the time we reach Paris

Joe and Rajeev squeeze through to their first final of the season. Good stuff.

Jack up an early break on Bublik

Jack one set up after trading a few breaks and winning the tie-break. This is night and day to the Paul match. So enjoyable to watch, trading trick shots, tons of variety from both players with drop shots, volleys and moving each other around from the back of the court.

Jack is a break up in the second set so hopefully he'll win through.

They are both certainly enjoying themselves.  Trick shots, underarm serves and even high-fiving each  other at the change over.

Yes they seemed to have a whale of a time. But Jack comes through 7-6 6-4 and plays Lehecka in the final. Lehecka beat Korda 6-1 6-1 so seems in great form. Looking forward to the final, which will result in a first ATP title for one of the two of them so a lot at stake.

If Joe and Rajeev win tonight and Zeballos / Granollers win in Auckland we will have players ranked 2 to 7 incredibly close on points.

Dodig 6515
Zeballos 6467
Bopanna, Ebden, Ram, Salisbury all 6450
And then Granollers would be 6287

Amazingly tight and will still be tight even if those results dont happen

Jack takes the first set 6 -4. Isn't anybody watching this? Oh and after being behind in first set and in match tie break Jo and Rajeev did the business and took the title.
