 Yes, quite an unlucky draw really.  In this form, you get the feeling that anything like a kindly draw would have seen him go deep in the tournament and bag some big points.

 

Is it wrong of me to hope that Rublev picks up a little niggle in the doubles and decides to rest it... ;)

We're both joking but hopefully today's win will bode well for the AO qualifiers.

 Good solid win, feel Julian can make strides this season to the top 20, if he can get into the bigger events at some point
