RE: Week 1 - WTA250 - Auckland, New Zealand Hard

Its Sky or nothing this year unless you want to try a workaround which is a bit above my tech skills! Now Tv were offering streaming for £21 per month for six months but even the coverage has been reduced - unlike Amazon Sky arent covering the ASB classic in depth. It is very disappointing but hopefully if people dont tune in they will either put together a tennis package or sell it in.

Im really annoyed Amazon Prime will not be broadcasting the tennis this year, Im itching to watch Emma. Are there any alternative streaming services that people are using? I really dont want to sign up to Sky Sports

Unfortunately, when Sport goes over to sky sports, they tend to monopolise it in that country. There are other ways to stream, but then over the tennis season, it would cost you a fortune. I get Amazon Prime as I use it for next day delivery for my business, so I could basically watch tennis for free.
Not any more.

I know. It's a complete dud that we're being offered now.

Unfortunately Amazon Prime didn't want to carry on providing coverage as there weren't enough viewers. So we're all stuck with Sky now, which prices its offer around including football and Formula One, which makes it really expensive, and obviously puts tennis well down the priority list.

I can't wait to be back in France to get Eurosport.

And will do my eyes in watching Bet365 until then.

Although am seriously considering a VPN....

Firestick and a VPN is all you need.

She did well to recover from *2-5 to *4-5 but the first serve has increasingly deserted her and she couldn't hold.

I suspect she had to win this one in two. But lots of good play considering how long she's been out.

Credit to Emma for hanging in early in the third, she goes up *5-2 but is broken to 15.

5-3*

Emma has 40-15* at 5-4* but Ruse plays four strong points and then breaks to 30.

5-5*

Could be a sore one to start with ...
