Congratulations to Joe! I'm sure Player of the Season here is far more prestigious than that ITF World Doubles Champions thingy he and Rajeev were just awarded.
And thank you Jon for all your hard work over the year organising all the PoM and PoS contests. It's been a lot of fun to join in.

there are awards for mens singles and doubles, womens singles and doubles, junior boys and girls and the three wheelchair disciplines.
it is a panel decision and grand slams, Davis Cup and BJK Cup are considered by the panel as official events.
Wikipedia is WRONG (and have now updated). It's no longer a panel, and hasn't been this century. Can't remember exactly when it changed, but it was in response to criticism of the arbitrary nature of a panel.
There is currently an ITF formula that takes it account tour events but gives special weight to Slams, and the Olympics in an Olympic year. There is some weight given to Davis Cup and BJK Cup too. The ITF has never published the precise formula.
