If it is the same Marcus Daniell, then he spent most of his career in the doubles top 100 and won bronze at the Olympics with Michael Venus. He retired in 2022 and is 34 now.

the itf has two profiles , one of the above player, the other a 34 year old playing his first event, so I think they are actually the same person.

in which case, Emile and partner where always going to be up against it in this final!

Given the quality of one half of the opposition (my comment after Emile's & Josh's semi refers), I'm not really surprised by that result. hmm

Ha, didnt see your comment , SC, sorry, and made same basic point. Olympic bronze as well. At 34 hed still be a spring chicken in doubles, maybe he will come back?
