to note, I have put a vote close marker on it and it will close the vote at 8.58 pm tomorrow - not 9 pm. SO dont try and be last second charlie, because you may find it has just closed! Try and vote with at least a few minutes to spare if you need to be late to the party!!
Ill recap the votes at the end of the night, but just want to point at the third place battle.
At the moment, Katy Dunne has a place in the PoS event as she has the best 3rd and 4th place record. In the monthly finals she has been in, Katy has aggregated 19.5% of votes (not literally but adding together 15 or so in one Pom vote and 4 or 5 percent in another, so 19.5 overall).
The third place finisher here needs to beat that tally to get into player of the season and usurp Katys position. None of the candidates (ie those not already qualified for pos ) have received any votes in previous monthly votes. Which leaves them needing to beat 19.5 percent of the vote here to take that spot off Katy.
The current third place player tonight is on just around 15 percent, so just a little behind but a few votes here and there could make the difference.
So, as well as the top 2 battle, third place is important and you can keep an eye on whether Katy D or the third place player here takes that POS position by tracking their performance against 19.5%.
Who said I didnt make this lots of fun!

The vote reaches 30, which is great at this stage. Ill give the scores summary in the next hour or so, lets hope tomorrow has enough votes left to help us close to last years 45 ( a monthly record is 46, in July this year and it would be great , but a surprise, to beat that).
All players have a vote now , great stuff. The 3rd placed contender is on 18 percent of the votes, tantalisingly close to
the 19.5 percent they are chasing down!
If that third placed player had one more vote, theyd have over the 19.5 percent target to qualify for player of the season vote, very fine margins. Every vote does make a difference, folks!
I wont name names as I dont want to influence anyones thinking here.
Should be an interesting day as votes update gradually as the day progresses.
8 hours left now, no change - maybe everyone voted last night and today is just the holding pattern!! Hopefully a few more will come in as the day progresses!!
