RE: The Surbiton Trophy

Andy would have to have a wildcard, but I doubt if he will be asking for one. He needs to sort out this back problem before Queens and playing Surbiton would surely not be a good idea.

And then he goes and plays RG doubles. . . Oh well, I suppose he may ask for a wild card then.

Greg's planning on reaching the RG doubles Final.

Then again, the way it's been going, his R1 match may not finish by Monday anyway!

I suppose if it because of withdrawls of people within the main draw that's alright I suppose. At least if it's not a WC then it's ok I suppose.

Surely you mean 4 wc's?

There are two Special Exempts to be cleared I know but they must go to the two highest ranked players signed in for qualifying according to ATP rules.

Is this a record for the latest announcement ever to be made? play starts in 14 hours.

The tournament told me that there were 6 qualifying wildcards

I'm very surprised at how late the draw has been made, it's normally made the afternoon before but when I phoned they said it wouldn't be made until 9.30pm

And so there are, according to the draw: Jamie Murray, Andrew Kennaugh (drawn against each other!), Naim Lalji, Edward Corrie, Chris Eaton and David Corrie.
