Disappointing day for Heather, a real shame.

Well done, Maia, though in retaining top womens doubles spot. Although it felt like the players fell over themselves to avoid the spot at the end of the week!

I see Freya is still competing she is in the doubles in the WTA125 in Uruguay.

 Yes, I knew she was scheduled to play there and was waiting for the draw to come out. She can catch Emily Appleton for GB #6 if she outperforms her.

This tournament was eventually won by the 6th seed  Marina Bassols Ribera who beat Heather's conqueror  Erika Andreeva in the final.
