Im really glad Fran has been called up as she has had lots of disappointments and setbacks and potentially is our best clay court player..
I too, was also wondering if Emma would show up ready to compete on a clay court when shes just returning from injuries. It just seems like its a little bit risky and I wouldnt be surprised if it was a no-show.

Raducanu has a main draw wild card into Stuttgart the following week. No reason not to play unless she hasn't recovered from her recent injury.

Her team said they stopped training for a day or two as a precaution and then decided the back strain was minor.

Interesting to see how Fran gets on with the rest of the team given she's based in Spain, not sure how well she knows them.

Glad she made the squad although i'd be surprised if she gets to play, best chance is if someone gets injured or if Katie/Emma get begeled in the opening singles matches.

If someone could get a result against Garcia then I would favour us to have a good chance in the other rubbers.

Who is showing this? BBC's preview says their coverage is text commentary. I can't see anything on Sky Sports or TNT Sports listings.

We deserved a bit more to show for some very good performances against them last time, but just not sure I can see it on clay. Stranger things have happened though!

Tennis on Telly says the BBC are showing it (I think it'll be on rhe red button) but most of the ties will be available on Tennis Channel UK.
