Basically Annie has picked our three top-ranked singles players and two top-ranked doubles players.

Not sure if Heather will play with Harriet or Olivia though.

Dont take this as the final team though - from the BBC

The team could look quite different come November, as captain Anne Keothavong can make as many as three changes up until a day before GBs first-round match against Germany.

Both form and fitness are unpredictable, and Sonay Kartal is one with a chance of pushing herself into the team.

Got to think Emma is a serious doubt for this and won't be match fit even if she can play.  Harriet possibly injured and Katie B looking a bit tired and off form.  A few weeks to go but looking tricky to do much positive. Still there will be a lot of tired players at the end of a long season.

A bit tongue in cheek with this one but do you think our US Open junior champion  Mika S.would be ready for this tie if the injury list  of first choice players continues.?

Dont think clay is Mikas best surface TBH.

It's being played on an indoor hard court.

It actually is being held the same week as the Junior Billie Jean King Cup Finals, which are being held in clay in Turkey. Think Mika and Hannah can concentrate on that event, at least for one year.

Press releases today say Emma should be with the team in Spain. Oh and Katie is having a bit of down time in Turin with Alex.

I've started a new thread for the finals, since they start next week.
