Hannah's final will be late today if it is on at all, as the other semi featuring the Wimbledon champions (over Hannah/Isa) was only able to play 1 game yesterday, and that semi will have to wait for the singles semis involving the same players mostly.

Just looking back, Ella McDonald and Mimi won the doubles here last season; I also see Jay Clarke won the boys doubles with a certain Kecmanovic in 2015!

 Do you have any feel, Lambda, if that's to do with the knee support?

Or just too tight a tightframe to get there for R1?

Or a J300 is not really that important to her and she's sort of above that now?

I'd say it's more about timing and that as it's a J300 that it's not worth rushing there. If I'm right that this swing is with a focus on a junior AO seeding, then, without doing the maths, I don't think that there is much threat next week and she can afford to miss it which may have factored into the decision. I suspect it's been quite tiring this week looking at the high feel like temps, so perhaps they've taken a view it's better value to recover and save her energy for the Orange Bowl then expending it in a J300.

Difficult to know if the knee support is a factor. Hopefully it's just precautionary.

Oli played yesterday.

It's possible they only had two adults - one who went to the US with Hep/ Charlie/ Viktor after they'd lost, and then the other one had to wait with Oli and Hannah?

Big well done to Hannah, and Kaitlin Q

This is Hannah's first doubles title at this level; her previous best was a J300 title

It's not her best counter though - which is still her runners-up place at Wimbly

However, the 375 points here will replace a 105, so 260 new points i.e. 65 net new points for her ranking (260/4).

Congratulations girls. According to the brief mention of the girls doubles final on the tournament website's day report, Hannah played very well and, although they had never played together before, the good result will now lead them to go again in the Orange Bowl. It's a shame there's no video as there appears to be of the finals in previous years. I believe Hannah's partner trains at the same base in Spain that Ollie does.

Oli is travelling with his academy, TEC Barcelona.

He is skipping the US tournaments to start preparing for 2024.

 Thanks. So that was a big part of my LTA theory, which now breaks down

Unless it was literally the same, but just Hannah left....

Good on Oli, his academy is obviously doing a great job, and it'll be great for his development long-term to be on clay for a good part of the year. The points here make precious little difference to him at the moment. Go back, and enjoy, and train

The top seeds were beaten in the delayed semi. In the singles it is a 1v2 final in the girls (Samsonova v Quevedo) while in the boys top seed Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez has been untroubled so far, and faces unseeded Max Schoenhaus
