Week 47 - ITF W25 - Lousada, Portugal Hard

But not the second and now there's an MTO

There's a livestream but I'm deliberately not connecting so as to make sure I finish my file this evening - anyone know what's happening ?

After the Swan medical time out at 2-1, Visschers game went missing, handing Swan the break for 3-1. Swan broke serve again at 5-2 to win the match.

I looked on my way home and she was break point down at 1-1 in the decider. Feared the worst but glad she came through.

Think she has to win the tournament to have any chance of making into the Aussie Open qualifying.

 Many thanks, foobaraz

Presumably her MTO wasn't really serious or she wouldn't have continued.....

Let's hope she reappears for the next round #fingerscrossed

It's just one match at a time, one set at a time, one game at a time. No pressure tennis, do what can be done on the day. What will be, will be.

Katie is also on the MD entry list for the W25 here again next week and on the UAE W100 qualifying list for the week beginning 04/12. Both of these could add to her points before 18/12, the relevant ranking date for Aus Open qualifying entry. And she has nothing to drop.
