Xinyu beat Chloe Paquet, the 2nd seed 1 & 3, so could be more of a challenge than her ranking would suggest.

Emilie has gone from WR 652 on 23/10 to live ranked 442 for 27/11. GB #15.

Before 30 August Emilie had never beaten anyone with a ranking above 397.

Her top 5 wins by ranking are now

 Long way to go, but I recall just last week that Jaggy stated that there is more chance of him purchasing a doubles season ticket than 23 yo Emilie ever reaching the singles top 240.

Love to see both of these happen some day   I wouldn't totally rule out the Emilie ranking one.

She looks to have a good top level. Can she now play to at least near this over a much more extended period?

Can I ask, she is often known as Lindh Gallagher. Is that correct or is the Gallagher no longer used? Was she born a Lindh Gallagher or just a Lindh?

She is Lindh-Gallagher by birth, but changed her ITF registration to Lindh a few years ago. SportsRadar haven't updated their database so she still appears as LG on live scores. She removed Gallagher from her Instagram handle at the weekend.

im sorry Ive asked this before, I genuinely dont remember asking it before or the answer that was given. Which may be frustrating or perhaps , for me, worrying but it isnt because I dont care about the answer, because I do.
