I should perhaps mention that Sam has a doubles CH of 76 - and was still in the top 100 in February, despite not playing since July 2022.

Play under way - and early controversy as a ball was called in that was over the baseline by around 2 feet - I think the umpire was unsighted.

 

ETA - decison reversed (or point replayed - I was typing on here and didn't see !)

No breaks of serve and A+I take the inevitable tie-break 7-4. They did have 4 break points during the set, but din't manage any of them.

She's 64 points behind the current WR100, but now 33 points clear of Liv who is WR106. Lissey has a lowest counter of 57, so needs some good tournaments to climb back up.

For an example, reaching the SF in Andorra would only be worth 57 points
