Bjorklund won the Ilkley Challenger in June, beating Navarro in the final. My take away was that she was talented and had a really attacking game, but it could go walkabout a bit; on a faster court, she got on top of Navarro but if this is slower, she may struggle. Mind you, she sounds like most of our team, tbh!!
She got engaged to Shapovalov in the summer as well, didn't she?
Bjorklund did take Elise Mertens to a final-set tiebreak at the USO though, having come through qualifying.
Persson played at Glasgow - lost to Maia+ in the doubles and SNigur in the singles QF.
Zaar has recently won a W15 (playing with Henneman) and a W25 doubles title.
That's the best I can find at the moment of their recent achievements.
Peterson posted yesterday "A lil photo dump of what's been going on lately - starting to see the light in the end of the tunnel :)" which doesn't sound like someone ready to return this weekend.
And indeed Peterson is out. Sweden's team is now Mirjam Björklund, Caijsa Hennemann, Kajsa Rinaldo Persson and debutants Lisa Zaar and Bella Bergkvist Larsson.

Bjorklund is quite capable of winning both her singles, but we should aim to win at least 1 against her and then all three other rubbers, should be a 4-1 win or better?
With Peterson it may have been a bit of a contest though I would still have expected GB to win easily.
Without her I'd frankly be disappointed if we lost a set. I know this might seem a bit arrogant but we really should win this very easily, especially as it is a home tie.

Surely it depends if Katie stays fit and Jodie doesn't go into self-destruct mode?

You'd hope that Annie would be able to talk Jodie out of any on-court tantrums.
Yikes. Poor Sweden. At least it's not at home for them. At this rate Larsson would be better coming off the captain's bench. She can still hit a good ball.
