Middle of week 1 of 5, hard to believe! Last Player of the Month, so dont feel shy in putting people forward (realise way too early today!) as the week (s) progresses. Anyone can nominate at any time, no protocol and we all know the process. If you are new to the board, welcome, please take part and feel free to put forward names for November Player of the Month (and a reason) if and when you feel you are ready to do so.
A couple of names already swirling round out there!
The week 44 Friday feeling list is posted, thanks to DF as always, and we have 30 plus players in November week 1 hunt for glory and a place on this nominations list!
So, it is only November 3rd but I will get things moving - the wheelchair season effectively ends this weekend, so no chance for these guys to impress us more, so hence the early nomination.
Nominations List
1. Andy Lapthorne - reaching the semis of the NEC Wheelchair Masters, beating David Wagner (WR 3) along the way and pushing WR 2 , Sam Schroder, all the way. Andy surpassed expectations here and it is a great end to the season for him.
I make 16 players still going this weekend at pro level, incl one for singles and doubles titles, which is great, plus 2 in wheelchair tennis. Lets see if any of them bother the nominations committee as we approach the end of week 1 of the 5.
Remember - this is the last player of the month until end of January - we combine December with January. So this is not the month to be reticent or shy. A nomination is a shout out for a job well done this month or in any week of the month.
So, if you want to nominate someone at any time, theres no limit on numbers and no limit on why someone is nominated, if you think theyve done a good job!

I may have created a rod for my back with Alfie and Gordon but Gordon deserves to not be judged by Alfies singles performance and so Ill see what happens in the singles final tomorrow. Meanwhile, this looks like it could be a wheelchair dominated month - and why not!
A couple of big finals today for Jack, Giles and Alfie in particular, and our GB Junior Boys going for a high finish in their play offs. Remember, if anyone rocks your boat, feel free to add them here!

I now have two Alfie entries but so be it, well deserved and Ill work out a plan nearer month end!
I may need to have two groups and thus rounds to deal with it , although it depends on how many total nominations we get this month.
sorry Im clogging it up with wheelchair nominations but Its season end and our players have done so well, so deserve the nominations! No one else will probably vote for them but at least they can get recognised !
