October 2023 Player of the Month Vote

Mr Harris. I never imagined that he would get this far without a dedicated laundryman.

This month's poll is great (so many wonderful achievements to choose from!) and terrible (so many wonderful achievements to choose from!)

Hannah's wins are very impressive and exciting, but I'm torn between Billy and Julian for delivering a whole month of consistently good performances, which is just as important as those moments of brilliance.

I've gone for Billy as Julian feels like he's consolidating a level he'd already reached (also important!) but Billy is pushing upwards -- and following up the "big wins" with more good matches. Just impressively solid.

This. Thanks Tanagui, expressed my views better than I did!

18 votes now, suspect it will be this evening before we get a few more to start to form a shape on this, but interesting nonetheless so far!

a 19th vote comes in and closes things up. This could be very close this month. With 19 votes so far, we are probably around half of the final expected total, so a lot of votes to come and a lot could change with one or two votes here or there. So please do vote !!

To make Billy's win over him more impressive, RBA has just won his opening match in the Paris Masters 1000 event.

One of our nominees confirmed in the ATP Tour Finals today, well done to Joe (and Rajeev!)

So, 20 votes in and the scores read:

6 votes
5 votes
3 votes
1 vote x 6 players
0 votes x 8 players

Maybe shaping up to a 3 way race but I am hoping we are still expecting half the votes still to come in over the next day or so.

So difficult to choose between Marni, Mimi and Hannah. All three surged up the rankings, Marni has been steadily moving up the rankings for a while but reaching the W100 final was a big jump and was a bigger win than either of the other two achieved, so I finally opted for Marni.

That was a great week for her and well deserved to get the vote. Certainly in with a chance here as well!
