Very nice, glad to see Ali getting some wins again.
Did Freya make a big mistake dumping her?
Not at all, IMO
The fact that both Freya and Ali are (separately) in finals this weekend shows - to me - that it was good to split and it's given a new boost to both
Yep, I think its being shown that players get stale frequently and need a change. Long term pairings for over a year or maybe 2 so are less usual, just look at our men right now. And unless your challenging for year end finals honours, being in a pair for the longhaul doesnt really matter, not in terms of climbing the rankings.
Freya as just won the Sunderland doubles in.my opinion shes a better doubles player than Ali Collins
Sunderland is only a W25 though, Ali gained more points than Freya this week by winning Nantes.
Again well done to Ali. But Ali+ winning a pretty weak W60 while Freya+ win a W25 doesn't remotely counter scottie's opinion ( which actually would still be arguable whatever the relative strengths of the events this week ).
