 I meant for a W60. A CR of 512 isn't very high for the third seeds at this level - and they couldn't even fill the draw.


 Understood - I guess a bit of a gimme, but at least we have pairs taking advantage. And at least we arent the only country not filling draw sheets out!

Our top 15 doubles players are collectively up 157 places in the live rankings, including Lily up 89 and Ali up 20 places. Biggest rises are lower down thougth with Amelia Rajecki up up 281 and Isabelle Lacy up 481.

Ali has won 3 W60 titles this season, two with Freya and 1 with Lily. Looking at 2022 and 2023 , her tournie wins seem to be Britain and France exclusively . Has she got a strong connection with France ?

 Not at all, IMO

The fact that both Freya and Ali are (separately) in finals this weekend shows - to me - that it was good to split and it's given a new boost to both
