Week 43 - ITF W60 - Glasgow, Great Britain Hard

Poor Mimi

She'd done all the hard work, then let a volley go, thinking it was going out but it was just in. And lost the next point.

Ended up losing 4-6 in the third

But a super show, some excellent tennis

Yep, never mind, a good learning curve by the sounds of it if a painful one.

Looks like Maia and Jorge won the doubles but I've no idea what the score was.

Looking forward to watching our upcoming juniors. Mimi did brilliant this week and Hannah last week. Augurs well for the future- good look to all of them in 2024 - exciting times for British tennis. In the girls under 18 and under WTA rankings - Isa is at 14, Hannah 17 and Mimi at 24, if I have read the tables correctry!

Impressed with Mimi.
Good solid game and has the ability to come to the net where she is very comfortable.

Maia is looking good for an Australian Open spot but will need to find a partner unless Naiktha returns and get some points before the end of the season.
